My theme for this piece was to demonstrate themes of reflection and the connection between human and physical nature.
By the utilization of mirrors, I was able to photograph multiple angles and perspectives within the image. This creates a duality of framing: both the framing of the image itself and a series of other frames through the outlines of the mirrors, creating portal-like illusions.
My intention in this series was to create a dialogue on our connection to the natural world and demonstrate the complexity of multi-faceted human nature. Shot on Canon Rebel T7 and edited in Adobe Photoshop

My project aims to illustrate effects of sexual assault on the female form. Each individual photographed has been a victim of non-consensual sexual acts.
For this piece, I gathered five women who are close to me and had them represent their personal stories of assault through the use of painted handprints on their body. The paint is teal which is the color of the sexual assault awareness movement.
Thematically, I wanted to represent the visual concept of a party environment through the use of colorful lighting and makeup. I was inspired by the installation “What Were You Wearing” which shows the clothing of rape victims. I wanted to bring awareness to how common sexual assault is within our society, particularly within the young adult and college party scene.

This piece was shot in a local cemetery during midday and evening. The intention was to demonstrate how the energy of the same location can differ through lighting and editing. I wanted to capture the often forgotten craftsmanship in sculpture and glasswork within this place of rest. Shot on Canon Rebel T7 and edited in Adobe Photoshop.

This work focuses on the balance between existence and destruction, particularly in a domestic setting.
Objects are displayed in a state of harmony, then destroyed as a commentary on domestic violence. The viewer can presume the story between the actions performed on the objects.
